Privacy
What this site keeps, and what it does not.
What I keep
If you leave a note, the site keeps your name or nickname, how you know me if you wrote it, and your note. It also keeps a short scrambled code made from your internet address, only so that one person cannot flood the book. The address itself is not kept. Nothing else about you is asked or kept.
Who sees it
Your note is sent to me by email so that I can read it. A note shows on the Guestbook only after I say yes, with your name and how you know me, for anyone to read. A note I do not approve is deleted, with its code.
Cookies and videos
This site sets no cookies and has no ads or trackers. If you turn the music on, your browser remembers that choice on your own device. A video loads from YouTube only when you press play, and then YouTube's own rules apply.
Where it is kept
The site is hosted on Vercel. Notes are kept in a database at Supabase, in Tokyo, Japan. The email about a note is sent through Resend.
Taking a note down
If you want your note changed or taken down, message me on one of the places at the bottom of this page, and tell me which note it is. I will remove it.
